Xiaozhuo Wei

My name is Xiaozhuo Wei (魏晓拙). I am currently a Barr's Foundation Postdoctral Fellow at Caltech's Seismological Laboratory.

I am a seismologist, using different kinds of seismic waves to look into the interior of earth in order to better undertand its volcanic and tectonic processes.

I earned my PhD degree from Graduate School of Oceanography, University of Rhode Island. Before that, I obtained my bachelor's degree at School of Earth and Space Sciences, Peking Univeristy and my master's degree at Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
